Recently I attended the Bluebell Railway's Model Railway Exhibition and the stand out of the show for me was Plumpton Green. This incredible pre-grouping layout shows off a wonderfully modelled LBSCR station with a variety of trains passing by while both passenger and goods trains are shunted and marshalled in the nearby sidings.

Another great thing about Plumpton Green is that the whole layout is controlled by a fully interlocked lever frame out front so viewers can see all the levers being pulled and all the bell codes coming in and going out.

I could have happily watched this fantastic model railway all day... in fact I pretty much did as I returned to it several times so watch the trains pass by!
