This is a comprehensive review of Thinkific—one of the most popular online course creation platforms. I've used this platform to launch and sell two courses for the past 1.5 years.

I've created and sold 2 courses on Thinkfic so I thought it'd be a wonderful place to create a short review of the platform. Welcome!

0:31—Storytime
When I started creating courses, I thought it would be enough to just set up a PayPal link and host the course contents on Google Drive, etc. But boy I was wrong. When it comes to hosting a course, you need to have interactivity, community features, coupons, refunds, student support, and so much more that you might not think of before you start. That's why platforms like Thinkific shine. Thinkific takes care of all the technical hassle and automates mundane manual tasks so that you can focus on growing.

1:26—What Is Thinkific?
Thinkific is an online course platform that allows you to create, launch, and sell courses. It's a complete package.

2:03—My Course Page on Thinkific
I host two courses on Thinkific. There are two landing pages, checkout pages, and stuff like that. By the way, it only takes a couple of minutes to set this all up. You just need to create your course, choose the price, and payment methods and you're all set. Then you can customize your landing pages easily with the intuitive and simple (but a bit rigid) landing page builder.

4:04—Payments and Memberships
When it comes to paying customers, they have an easy option to just check your landing page and do a simple checkout with their payment method of choice. You can give your customers coupon codes and sales whenever you want to. You can also create a community or membership page and have people pay you a recurring fee.

6:03—Other Useful Features
Thinkific comes with all the bells and whistles. There are so many features you might not even know that exist even after years of using the product. This goes from specific data tracking to tracking your student's progress and so much more.

6:30—Reports and Analytics
Thinkific allows you to see what the student's progress looks like. You can track how many views your videos have. You can track where your students are stuck, and more.

6:48—Plugin Store
If there's a feature that doesn't exist on Thinkific, you can install it to your course as a plugin from the plugin store. Although I'm not a huge fan of this because the plugins might cost a lot. But those are good because they will make your course or school complete if there's a feature that you'd like to add but that doesn't exist on Thinkific yet.

7:54—Pros & Cons
Thinkific is easy to use. It's easy to set up, it's intuitive
and works pretty seamlessly. But also, it's limited when it comes to customization. Most advanced features don't exist or you can buy them from the plugin store. Also, the customer support is great but there's a robot taking care of the basic questions which is very bot-like and inaccurate and can cause frustration.

I like Thinkific. It's a great and easy option for anyone looking to get started with the online course business.
