New programme aims to improve quality of paediatric healthcare in Singapore

Children's emergency departments at two hospitals are taking steps to go through long queues more quickly. They are tying up with clinics and training nearly 300 GPs to manage non-life-threatening cases and take the load off hospitals. Associate Professor Sashikumar Ganapathy from the KK Women's and Children's Hospital, and Dr Jasmine Ho from the National University Hospital shared more details about the PaedsENGAGE programme.
