WOW you won't believe what I got in this first Haul of the new Year very fine CHEESE !! Then lets get cozy with some golden split pea soup !!! Very simple done in the crock pot aka Slow cooker !

2lb bag yellow split peas
1 and a half teaspoon onion powder
1 LARG onion diced fine
half a teaspoon of garlic powder
1 bay leaf
teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon salt free seasoning of your choice
combine in crock pot fill with water or chicken broth an inch from top
Cook on high for 2 hours or on low till morning then enjoy on a cold winters day
