Onboard the Inaugural Silver Line Extension from Dulles International Airport

Today, November 15, 2022 the Washington Metro (WMATA) opened six brand new stations, in what is known as the "Silver Line Extension."

The following six stations opened today:
-Reston Town Center
-Herndon
-Innovation Center
-Dulles Airport
-Loudoun Gateway
-Ashburn

Kicking off around 2PM, we were onboard the first train leaving Washington Dulles Airport Station. The WMATA hosted a celebration, handing out memorabilia.

Watch to see what it was like onboard this inaugural train ride, that connects Dulles Airport to downtown Washington DC.
