Our PERFECT day in Ubud, Bali (Despite a major setback...)

We have absolutely loved the past two weeks here in Ubud and we are sad to say goodbye (for now)… we will be back in October 😊

Here are some of our tips and top things to do and see while visiting Ubud:

TIPS
✨Get a driver for the day to take you around to all the different spots so you can focus on the sights rather than battling google maps in a foreign country - we paid $250k IDR ($25 AUD) for half the day and he was so helpful.

✨ You can also rent a scooter for the day however Ubud’s roads can be quite busy and narrow so unless you are experienced with riding a scooter, we suggest getting a private driver:
📍Go to Ulu Petanu waterfall - donation on entry so make sure you have some cash with you (10k- 20k IDR or $1-$2 AUD)
📍 Check out Ceking Rice Terrace - $50k IDR ($5 AUD) per person entry and if wanting to fly a drone it’s an extra 100K IDR ($10 AUD)
📍 Support local and eat out at a Warung - our favourites are Warung Biah Biah and Compounds Warung (Both located on Goutama street)
📍 Take a walk down Goutama street for a variety of warrungs, restaurants and cute little boutiques (And stop for Ice Cream, açai or chocolate at the local mart)
