When Jake approaches Paulina, who's sitting at the bar at the Paradise, having a drink and chatting with Ada, Ada warns Jake that if he does anything to give Paulina a hard time, she'll throw him out, adding that Jake won't be the first guy she's bounced out of the Paradise today. After Ada leaves, Jake asks Paulina what's with Ada, and Paulina replies that she thinks Ada is having second thoughts about selling the Paradise. Jake is surprised to learn that Ada sold the place, reminding Paulina when she wonders why he's surprised, that he's not part of the family anymore. She retorts that that didn't stop him from barging in at the pool yesterday. When Jake tells Paulina how great she looked yesterday, she tells him it's inappropriate for him to say that and adds that she's meeting Kevin there. Jake asks if she's tired of that cold fish Kevin, and she says no, and Kevin is just the opposite of a cold fish. Thanks to Janie for the scenes.
