असम के मुख्यमंत्री ने क्यों कहा कि मैं असम को मियां भूमि नहीं बनने दूंगा. हिमंता के बयान पर सियासी संग्राम तेज़ हो गया है. विधानसभा के पटल पर सीएम ने जो कहा उसे लेकर विपक्ष हमलावर हो गया है. मंगलवार को असम विधानसभा में मुख्यमंत्री हिमंता ने कहा कि मैं पक्षपाती हूं, जो करना है कर लो. मैं असम पर मियां मुसलमानों को क़ब्ज़ा करने नहीं दूंगा. लोअर असम के लोग तभी अपर असम जा सकेंगे जब अपर असम के लोग चाहेंगे. सीएम के बयान से ना सिर्फ़ सियासी भूचाल मचा है, बल्कि सांप्रदायिक संग्राम भी तेज़ हो रहा है. संविधान में मिले मौलिक अधिकारों की भी बात होने लगी है.. सीएम से पूछा जा रहा है कि जिस संविधान की क़सम उन्होंने खाई थी.. उसके ख़िलाफ़ बयान देने का मतलब क्या है. क्या हिमंता बिस्वा सरमा मियां मुसलमानों का नाम लेकर अपनी सियासत चमका रहे हैं, आख़िरकार हिमंता को ऐसा कहने की ज़रूरत क्यों आन पड़ी... दरअसल ऊपरी असम के नागांव में एक नाबालिग के साथ गैंगरेप हुआ था.
