This video is an easy tutorial on how to crochet the x stitch (cross stitch in 2 ways) and the v stitch.
Just a quick and easy way to show the difference between cross stitch and v stitch with single crochet.
There are 3 ways to do it.

First Method, it's the yarn over and yarn over technique (v stitch)

Second Method, it's the yarn under and yarn over technique (Cross Stitch). This is the most used method for amigurumi as it gives a nice detail and the stitches are tighter with the technique.

Third Method, it's the yarn under and yarn under method (True Cross Stitch). Even though it's the actual cross stitch but not used as often as the other two techniques.

Yarn - Bernat Cotton yarn.
Crochet hook - 3.5mm
