Breastfeeding can be a wonderful bonding experience between you and your new baby. It can also, if done incorrectly, be painful - but it does not have to be. This video shows you comfortable breastfeeding positions.

In this video, lactation consultant Joy Padula (RN, IBCLC) talks about the importance of being comfortable when breastfeeding. She’ll give you practical, straightforward tips and techniques you can use to help you and your baby find comfort during this important experience.

Joy also explains how to know when your baby has had enough breast milk, when to switch breasts and what to do if they fall asleep while feeding.

It’s also important to know where to look for additional help. The International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners (www.iblce.org) and the La Leche League International (www.llli.org) are two great organizations to turn to.
