Mahavatar is an upcoming action movie that is scheduled for release in theaters on Christmas, 2026. Vicky Kaushal as Chiranjeevi Parashurama, the sixth avatar of Lord Vishnu. The movie is based on the story of Parashurama, a fierce warrior who was tasked with restoring dharma on Earth. In Hindu mythology, Parashurama was given a double-edged battle axe by Lord Shiva to destroy evil. He was also a teacher of warriors, instructing Bheeshma, Dronacharya, and Karna.
