Rathkale Camping Site | Madulsima | Cocagala Estate

This time our tourist destination is Rathkele Pathana located in Roberia estate, but the way we used to get there is not a little but a very different way. Actually it was very difficult. Also, you must have a vehicle like 4 wheel to travel along this road. You can watch that trip from our Kalukale Episode-1, if you haven't watched it.
You must stop at Rathkele Pathana for a night. It is a very nice place to experience the beauty. But that beauty will increase even more if you can be there early in the morning. You can see most of the eastern province of Sri Lanka like Batticaloa, Kalmune, Pottuvil, and the sky can be seen all the way to the sea on a clear day. You can see places like Galoya mountains as well as the Monaragala and Maragala mountain ranges.Here we can understand how the internal plains of Sri Lanka and the central mountains are separated.

After the Rathkele plain(pathana) we went to another beautiful plain(pathana) That's what located in Elawana section. However, this is a must-visit place on a trip. Roberia Estate was started in 1870. Four divisions namely Dehigala, Rathkele, Roberiya and Elmana can be seen in this estate. There are 1100 acres of tea plantation.
Another unique thing about Roberia Estate is that the borders of several regional secretariats have fallen around this estate. Ridhimaliyadda is in the north, Bibila is in the east and Lunugala district secretariat is in the south. This Roberia Estate is located in the domain of Roberia Grama Niladari in the Secretariat Division of Meegahakivula Region.
So, you can also try this trip one day. But, I request you to go and experience the beauty of that environment, and also make sure that those places are protected.


මෙවර අපේ සංචාරක ගමනාන්තය වන්නේ රෝබේරිය වතුයායේ පිහිටලා තියෙන රත්කැලේ පතන හැබැයි අපි එතනට යන්න යොදා ගත්ත මාර්ගය නම් ඇත්තටම ටිකක් නෙමෙයි ගොඩක්ම වෙනස් මාර්ගයක් . ඇත්තටම ගොඩක්ම දුස්කරයි ඒ වගේම 4 විල් වගේ වාහානක් අනිවාර්යෙන්ම වගේ තියෙන්න ඕන මේ ගමන යන්න මේ පාර දිගේ . ඉතින් අපේ Kalukale Episode -1 එකෙන් ඔයාලට ඒ සංචාරය බලන්න පුලුවන් එක බැලුවේ නැතිනම් .'

රත්කැලේ පතනේ රාත්‍රියක් නතර වෙන්නම ඕන එතැන සුන්දරත්වය අත්විදින්නනම් ඒ තරම්ම ලස්සන තැනක් හැබැයි ඒ සුන්දරත්වය තවත් වැඩිවෙන්නේ උදේ පාන්දරම එතන ඉන්න පුලුවන්නම් තමයි.රත්කැලේ පතනට ලංකාවේ නැගෙනහිර පලාතේ වැඩි හරියක් දැක බලා ගන්න පුලුවන් . මඩකලපුව ,කල්මුනේ . පොතුවිල් වගේ තැන් වගේම අහස පැහැදිලි දවසට මුහුද දක්වාම දකින්න පුලුවන් . ගල්ඔය කදු ටික ඒ වගේම මොනරාගල මරගල කදු පංතිය වගේ තැනුත් දකින්න පුලුවන් . මෙතනදි අපිට ලංකාවේ අභ්‍යයන්තර තැනිතලාවත් මධ්‍යම කදුකරයත් වෙන්වෙන හැටි වුනත් කෙනෙකුට හරි අපුරුවට මෙතනදි අවබෝද කර ගන්න පුලුවන්.

රත්කැලේ පතනෙන් පස්සේ අපි ගියා තවත් බෙහෙම ලස්සන පතනකට ඒ තමයි එළමාන කොටසේ තියෙන පතන මෙතනට කට්ටිය මඩොල්සිම පතන කියලත් කියනවා කොහොම වුනත් මේ යන ගමනකදි මෙතනටත් යන්නනම ඕන තැනක්. 1870 වගේ තමයි රෝබේරිය වතුයාය ආරම්බ කරලා තියෙන්නේ දෙහිගල. රත්කැලේ .රෝබෙිරිය සහ එළමාන කියලා ඩිවිෂන් හතරක් මේ වතුයායේ දකින්න පුලුවන් . තේ අක්කර 1100 තේ වගාව තියෙනවා .'

රෝබේරිය වතුයායේ තියෙන තවත් සුවිශේෂිම දේ තමයි මේ වතුයාය වටේටම ප්‍රාදේශිය ලේකම් කාර්්‍යාල කිහිපයකම මායිම් වැටිලා තියෙනවා . උතුරින් රිදිමාලියැද්දත් නැගෙනහිරින් බිබිලත් දකුණින් ලුනුගල ප්‍රාදේශිය ලේකම් කොට්ඨාශත් පිහිටලා තියෙනවා. මීගහකිවුල ප්‍රදේශිය ලේකම් කොට්ඨාශයේ රෝබේරිය ග්‍රාම නිළදාරි වසම තුල තමයි මේ රෝබේරිය වතුයාය පිහිටලා තියෙන්නේ..

ඉතින් ඔබටත් පුලුවන් දවසක මේ සංචාරය කරන්න හැබැයි ගිහින් ඒ පරිසරයේ සුන්දරත්වය විදගන්න ඒ වගේම ඒ තැනුත් ආරක්ෂා කරලා එන්න වග බලා ගන්න කියලා ඉල්ලිමක් කරනවා..
