Sandstone Bluffs

Located 19 miles from the heart of Grants, NM, Sandstone Bluffs is a beautiful natural cliff formation inside the El Malpais National Monument. A short walkup will lead you to its breathtaking views, as miles of malpais rock stretch out from the base of the bluffs as far as the eye can see. After the summer rains, many natural pools of water form in the various surfaces of these massive sandstone formations.
