Reform UK has declared the safety of women and girls a “national security issue”, linking rising violence against women to record levels of illegal migration. At a press conference, party figures warned that biological men in women’s spaces and an influx of undocumented migrants from countries with poor records on women’s rights are putting British women at risk.

Labour’s Barry Gardiner hit back, accusing Nigel Farage and Reform MPs of voting against bills tackling stalking, harassment, drink spiking, and upskirting. Reform countered that such laws already exist, and that the real problem is record small boat crossings, light sentencing, and failure to secure Britain’s borders.
