ICES Working Group on Elasmobranch Fishes is responsible for providing assessments to support advice on the state of the stocks of sharks, skates, and rays throughout ICES area.
The group comprises professionals with a wide range of interests from different backgrounds as well as scientists who represent both state agencies and NGOs, experts in the fields of fisheries management, modelling, biology, tagging studies, deepwater fisheries, conservation, and taxonomy.
