Athletics baserunner Sean Murphy ran toward third on a ground ball hit to Orioles third baseman Kelvin Gutierrez, who attempted a lunging tag as Murphy began his slide toward the base. Little's position adjustment allowed him to attain the keyhole angle necessary to see the action area and confirm an out on the tag.

Little's out call was confirmed via Replay Review following a Manager's Challenge by the A's.
