Описание к видео East Bay Hills Trail

Come walk through the hills of East Bay, and be captivated by the beautiful Eastern Hemlock which keeps visitors coming back. Something special happens when you round the corner and walk among these centuries old coniferous trees.

The East Bay Hills trail is a trail for all ages, it is easily accessible and is open all year round. The parking lot however is not always plowed as this is operated by volunteers, so please plan ahead if traveling long distances. You can however park on the side of the highway but be cautious and have your pets on a leash. The terrain is fairly low mostly flat with a gradual incline. There is one hill which has a steep slope with hand rails to assist you and is shown in the video. The trail is well traveled and used quite often for snowshoeing. Pet friendly and the people who travel the trail are all very kind so don’t be surprised if you meet a few friends along the way. A few other interesting things I like about this trail is the educational experience, with posted signs hikers get to see which type of tree species grow along the trail and some history on the area which is great! Don’t forget to check out the birches as well they are magnificent. This trail like many trails I travel on is operated by volunteers and they accept donations and they also accept volunteer help. If you would like to volunteer to work on this trail please check out the information I posted below! Now what are you waiting for pack a lunch and load up the family and get exploring!
