Makhnial Waterfall & Pakshahi Valley || Beautiful Surroundings of Islamabad

Nestled in the foothills of the Margalla Hills National Park, just a short drive from the bustling city of Islamabad, is the stunning Makhnial waterfall. This natural wonder is a must-visit for nature lovers and adventure seekers alike. The sound of the waterfall and the chirping of birds create a soothing melody, making it an ideal spot to escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.
It is accessible from Islamabad via Peer Sohawa Road after crossing Makhnial Bazaar (Market). Tourists can reach Makhnial waterfall in 10 minutes from Pine valley residencia road. The road is well built and one can easily get there. However, some are enthusiastic enough to go down and then trek up to the Margalla hills.
We started our journey from Taxila via Khanpur Road. After reaching Tarnawa Town, we took right turn to Kohala Bala Road towards Najafpur Village. After crossing Najafpur, we again took right turn to Pakshahi Village and finally we reached to our destination i.e. Makhnial Waterfall. This whole track is amazingly beautiful and full of water streams.
