Indian has some of the best and worst hotels in the world. After years of traveling, I have to say that the value for hotels in India is hit or miss - with some of amazing accommodations options, as well as some flatout terrible ones.

This hotel in Jaisalmer, India in the state of Rajasthan was absolutely shocking. We booked it on the fly and did not know what to expect. Given the price tag, our expectations were low...very low.

However, the experience was quite the opposite of what we expected and we ended up discovering one of the best hotel finds we have ever come across. Would you stay in this $3 hotel in India?
