PSG hold open training session as Mbappe rejects contract extension and Neymar is linked to Man Utd

Christophe Galtier put his Paris Saint-Germain squad through a light training session on Wednesday, ahead of their penultimate game of the Ligue 1 season away at Strasbourg.

PSG currently hold a six point lead at the top of the table over Lens and have a superior goal difference, so Galtier and his men need just a point on Saturday to wrap up a record-breaking 11th French title.

It would also be Les Parisiens' 9th championship in the last 11 seasons.

Another trophy is not the only thing on the club's mind though.

On top of PSG being resigned to losing Lionel Messi at the end of the season and Neymar possibly departing as well, Kylian Mbappe has reportedly rejected the option to extend his contract until 2025, according to L'Equipe.

On that basis, Mbappe would become a free agent at the end of June 2024.
