🎉 How I Made 10 KG Chicken Doner for a School Festival – Cooked Over Wood Fire! 🍗🔥

In this video, I’m sharing my full recipe for homemade chicken doner — prepared with 10 kilograms of meat and cooked on a real wood fire! This version was specially made for a school festival, and the kids absolutely loved it. You can prepare it at home or use it for small events or street food-style service.

🧂 Ingredients:
10 kg of chicken meat (a mix of chicken thighs and breasts)

2.5 kg caul fat (1 kg finely chopped)

1 tablespoon hot pepper paste

5–6 tablespoons yogurt

½ cup soy sauce

100 g salt

2 tablespoons red paprika powder

1 tablespoon cumin

1 leveled tablespoon garlic powder

1 tablespoon dried thyme

1 leveled tablespoon black pepper

1 tablespoon tomato seasoning (Knorr)

1 tablespoon onion seasoning (Knorr)
(If unavailable, use: juice of 7 tomatoes, 2 sweet onions, and 9 garlic cloves — remove seeds, use only the outer juice)

👨‍🍳 Preparation:
Debone and clean the chicken breasts.

In a large bowl, combine all liquid and paste ingredients first (excluding the spices).

Massage the mixture into the chicken by hand — do not use gloves — and make sure every piece is well coated.

After mixing, add the spices and continue to mix thoroughly until everything is evenly distributed.

Let the meat marinate overnight in the fridge to absorb all the flavors.

Shape the doner onto a skewer or vertical rod and cook over a wood fire until golden and fully cooked.

Slice thinly during cooking and serve hot in bread with tomatoes, onions, and lettuce.
