Competitive Pokemon Singles is at almost the peak of its power in the format "Balanced Hackmons".

In this world, Pokemon can use just about any moves or abilities they like thanks to Hacks like Save editors.

While Meloetta has had an underwhelming career in the base game, in Hacked Pokemon it is a decent choice.

Thanks to its Solid stats and Normal/Psychic typing, Meloetta crucially resists Psychic and is immune to Ghost. This makes Meloetta effective against common threats like Mega Alakazam, Flutter Mane and Arceus Ghost.

With Higher Speed and SpA than other Special walls, Meloetta can also pose a decent threat with its powerful STAB Psystrike.

Some will never figure out how to get Meloetta in Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet. But famous player Jim Cool is well aware of the Best Meloetta Moveset in Competitive, and even how to Meloetta Shiny Farm. Many aren't and never will be. That's just the unfortunate reality of the world.
