In this video I perform the first oil change on this 2005 Toyota 4Runner with 236k miles. This truck has the 2UZ-FE engine (4.7L V8). Since purchasing the 4Runner, not too long ago, I've been wanting to change the oil but the last owner had it changed very recently so I was willing to wait a bit.

I'm excited to be changing the oil in this video for two reasons. The first is simply changing the oil so I know exactly what's in there and am able to see the condition of the oil and inside the oil filter. Secondly, I've been wanting to specifically use this oil by Valvoline called Restore & Protect. This oil has been getting a lot of attention lately and it seems, based on other reviewers, to do what it says it will do.

Being that this 4Runner has 236k miles I'm positive it could use an internal cleaning.
