1956 Lincoln Premier

When it comes to old cars there are a thousand different styles, looks, and features. Everyone has their personal favorites but there are some cars that we can all agree are just cool. This 1956 Lincoln Premier has to be one of those cars. It is very unique and you rarely see them in this condition. From front to rear it has the look of the 50's that you just can't beat. The pictures really don't do this car justice as it is truly beautiful in person! The beautiful chrome, fins, and two tone top are all features working together that really make up that classic look. The body is coated in a beautiful yellow paint which is the original color. The top is coated Black creating a nice contrast. The large front bumpers and rear bumpers are beautifully chromed and nicely mounted in place. The car has very nice stainless trim in place with all of the correct badges and emblems. The glass is all nice and clear. The fender skirts are a very cool feature and have the over laid trim nicely mounted. This classic is very solid and rides around on the original style wheels/hubcaps with nice white wall tires.

The drive train of the car has recently been gone through with a ton of components being rebuilt or replaced. The brake system stops with no issues as the brake shoes are all new and drums were just turned. The brakes will stop the car on dime. The steering gear, power steering pump, and gear box were entirely rebuilt to insure they are working like new. Both of those systems are power assisted which are nice luxuries to have, especially on a long car like this. The transmission pump seals and gaskets were all replaced allowing the automatic transmission to shift with no issues or leaks. Other new/rebuilt components include the rebuilt wiper motor, new fuel pump, rebuilt radiator, new voltage regulator, new oil pump o rings and more! The motor runs smooth and strong. It will run down the highway at 75 to 80 mph with ease. We feel that the engine was rebuilt, but do not have any documentation as to when. It has good compression in each cylinder. The intake manifold gasket was just replaced and the carburetor entirely overhauled. In addition, all new spark plugs and wires were purchased and installed. It is also a brand new battery. As you can see, every component was worked through and nothing was missed. The only items that do not operate properly are the power antenna, the clock and original radio. Did we mention that all of the components on the car are either original or rebuilt from original? You can't say that about every classic out there so it definitely is something to mention.

The interior of the car is almost entirely original with new carpeting and headliner. Minor repairs were done to the rear seat upholstery but other than that everything is left untouched. It is all finished out in a two tone black and matching cream vinyl that is in good condition. The seats are very comfortable and allow plenty of leg room. The dash has an amazing look with all of the original knobs and switches. The gauges work with no problems and are nicely mounted in place. The car has the original steering wheel which itself has a very unique look. The power window system works just as it should and is another rare option this car has to offer. The trunk is nicely done in that vintage plaid and houses the original jack and accessories.

This is one cool classic that you rarely ever see. You will never have to worry about pulling into a car show and seeing another car that matches yours! Get this awesome car while it is still available because there is no telling when you will see another up for sale!
