Jamie: (focused) Shh! I’m about to defeat the boss. One wrong move and I’m done.

Chris: (snapping photos) Everyone, look at me! Smile! Oh no, that one’s blurry—one more!

Riley: (holding phone) Hey guys, say hi to my followers! I’m filming a “Day at the Park” vlog.

Taylor: ...Guys, can we just enjoy being here? You don’t need to post it, record it, or level up.

Alex: (half-listening) I’ll enjoy it after I upload this.

Jamie: Just one more game!

Riley: Come on, Taylor, smile for the camera!

Taylor: Riley, I don’t want to be content. I want to be present.


-Scene 2: Disconnection
SFX: Typing sounds, notification pings, quiet background.

Taylor: You’re all sitting here, but it feels like I’m completely alone.

Sam: Taylor’s right. Look at us — nobody’s even looking at each other.

Chris: Wow… I’ve been taking the same selfie for ten minutes.

Jamie: (checks time) And I’ve been gaming for two hours. My battery’s dying, and so am I.

Alex: (realizing) I didn’t even notice the sunset… it’s beautiful.

Riley: Wait… I didn’t record it. Should I—

Taylor: (interrupts gently) No, Riley. Just see it. For once, don’t film it.

Riley: Okay… you’re right. It’s actually… amazing.


-Scene 3: The idea

Sam: Alright, team. Here’s a challenge: everyone turns off their phones for one hour. No posts, no selfies, no games, no vlogs.

Jamie: What if I miss a message?

Taylor: What if you miss real life instead?

Chris: (puts phone down) I’m in. I need a break from my camera roll.

Riley: Even me? No recording?

Sam: Especially you, Riley. Let’s live it, not film it.

Riley: Okay, okay. One hour. Let’s do this.


-Scene 4: Rediscovery
SFX: ambient chatter.

Taylor: This is so much better. We’re actually talking!

Alex: And it’s not about followers for once.

Jamie: Or levels.

Chris: Or filters.

Riley: Or views. You know what? I think this moment’s too real for the internet.

Sam: Exactly. The best memories don’t need Wi-Fi.


-Scene 5: Reflection
SFX: Peaceful background

Taylor: I’m not saying phones are bad. They help us learn, connect, share. But sometimes… we forget to live.

Sam: Right. Technology is a tool. But it should never replace the people in front of us.

Alex: Maybe we just need balance.

Chris: Let’s promise to do this more often!
