Addressing a problem with my 1970s Williams Space Mission (Space Odyssey) pinball machine where the game does not advance past the first ball, so it plays the same ball over and over. I show this is the result of a problem with the player stepper unit and in this series I show how to fix this by cleaning the stepper. In Part 2 of this series I remove some of the parts of the stepper unit and clean them and demonstrate how I fix the unit without completely disassembling it.
