Elora Quarry Conservation Area, north of Guelph & Kitchener

Описание к видео Elora Quarry Conservation Area, north of Guelph & Kitchener

Beautiful spot for swimming! Gorgeous scenery with the rock cliffs, and a lovely sandy beach with an easy entry into the water. Also a 1 km trail along the top of the quarry walls.

Reservations must be made online, where you pay per person and also pay for parking. There are two 4-hour time slots to choose from, and you'll have to leave at the end of your time slot. I think this must be because this quarry is very popular.

This park does not appear to have any accessible trails.

There is another conservation area in Elora. Elora Gorge Conservation Area is a separate property a few kilometres away, where you can hike the 3 km of trails on top of the gorge and also tube down the turbulent Grand River. There is a separate entrance and fee for this gorge conservation area.
