As of April 2, 2025, there have been no reported incidents of firing along the Line of Control (LoC) in Kashmir between the Indian and Pakistani armies in the past day. The most recent event occurred on February 16, 2025, when Pakistani troops reportedly opened small arms fire on an Indian Army post in the Poonch sector around 11:00 AM. The Indian Army responded appropriately, and no casualties were reported on the Indian side. 

Prior to this, on February 13, 2025, the Indian Army stated that the ceasefire along the LoC remained intact, despite some stray incidents of cross-border firing and a suspected improvised explosive device (IED) blast. The Army emphasized that no exchange of heavy-caliber weapons had taken place and that such minor incidents are not unprecedented along the LoC. 

The ceasefire agreement, renewed on February 25, 2021, has largely held, with only occasional violations reported. Both nations have mechanisms in place to address such incidents and maintain stability along the border. 

Given the absence of recent reports, it appears that the situation along the LoC has remained calm in the past day.
