The first step in the process is to have your current home ready to go on the market. By preparing your home for listing ahead of time, you’ll be ready to attract a buyer as soon as you get your new home under contract.

Second: Start looking for a new property: Try and figure out what kind of house and neighborhood you’re looking for. Do you need good schools? Do you want a quiet neighborhood because you work at home; Make a list of what you like about your current house/neighborhood and what you don’t. This will help narrow down the field.
