Description
Prambanan Temple, also known as Roro Jonggrang Temple, is the largest Hindu temple complex in Indonesia dedicated to the Trimurti, the three main Hindu gods: Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva. The complex has three main temples, namely Shiva Temple, Brahma Temple, and Vishnu Temple, each with a companion temple. The temple was built in the 9th century and is one of the UNESCO world heritage sites.

History Summary
Prambanan Temple was built around 850 AD by Rakai Pikatan of the Sanjaya Dynasty. After a period of prosperity, the temple suffered damage due to earthquakes and lack of maintenance. The restoration of this temple began in the early 20th century by the Dutch colonial government and continues to this day."
