Civ 5 AI Only Timelapse: Face to Face

The wide strait divides the world into two halves, each of which was full of luxury and strategic resources, soon settling civilizations were cramped, and rivalry between them began to grow fast. A tense struggle broke out for every tile and resource, great battles for cities, citadels, gold mines and even deer camps started everywhere, but the worst was yet to come. Conquering one half was not enough to win, which means thousands of ships and soldiers were fated to remain in the strait forever, dying in brutal, suicidal wars. Despite all those losses and failures, fanatical greed will not allow leaders to stop, everything must belong to one only or nobody at all.
