A big milestone in the renovation this week ✨

We finally reveal the top floor plastering, and it feels so good to see one full level coming together. Downstairs, the second floor is being prepped for flooring and plastering, as we officially move into the next phase of the house.

Thanks to cousin Teun, we’ve learned to work top to bottom, finishing the highest floor first, then moving down level by level. It’s a method that’s already paying off.

We also take some time for a slower moment as Charlie walks through the house with her dad, a carpentry mastermind. Planning out the built-in bookcase and the chicken coop! We can't believe it's all going so fast and are so grateful for all the help and support we are getting from our families, both hands on building support as well as moral support and a listening ear.
