Name a game genre, and I'm willing to bet there have been a huge fistful of games in the genre that have implemented a poison mechanic. The quintessential "damage over time" effect, poison ramps up as more stacks are applied to enemies, causing them to take automatic chip damage while we, the player, are free to our other devices. In some games, this is offset by a reduction in frontloaded damage. In Have A Nice Death, however, there is no such apparent reduction: we deal our full scythe damage in addition to poison, making it a very potent infusion to pick up in the early game.
How good is it? Spoiler alert,
It's to die for.
