Lango Cultural Foundation has released election road map for the new paramount chief. The election is being organised by a section of clan leaders who boycotted the March election in which Dr Eng Moses Michael Odongo Okune was elected the successor to Mzee Yosam Odur, the current Paramount Chief.
According to the road map, the election will take place on October 11th, this year.
So far three Clan Heads including Benjamin Okii, Dr. Richard Nam and Dr Dan Okello who have picked nomination forms at a fee of 2.5 m/= each.
The institution has also distanced itself from the ongoing process of coronation of Eng. Moses Odongo Okune elected under Lango Cultural Institution.
