Generals Zero Hour 7vs1 (hard AI Teamed vs player) Part 1 of 10

Описание к видео Generals Zero Hour 7vs1 (hard AI Teamed vs player) Part 1 of 10

This is how to win against 7 hard AI players teamed against the player in Command & Conquer Zero Hour. Starting cash $20,000 because starting with 10k gives the computer a massive advantage (on top of their already overwhelming numbers). It's doable but it's just tedious. It's fair too, because the AI gets the 20k also.

Recorded at 25 fps, sometimes when it plays back it seems slightly faster than the actual gameplay, but I'm not sure if that's just because it seems faster watching than playing because when playing you're concentrating on the game.

Playing against 7 AI is an endurance challenge, and the AI is relentless in attacking you. The key to winning is establishing a solid perimeter that doesn't require constant micromanaging. The AI does know how to use artillery though, so you have to be on the lookout for incoming scuds, tomahawks, buggies and nuke cannons. China factions can use nuke cannons on suppressive fire (ctrl-click the ground), and GLA can use scuds the same way.
The other key to victory is to get superweapons up very quickly so that you can take out the enemy's superweapons. You'll note that I don't use my supers for anything other than that. Often I'll use the captured nukes, just to make a mess, or if the computer gets in a lucky hit and needs to be punished. Using other factions superweapons will cost twice as much, but you can still capture the derricks and get a rapid starting economy enough to build your own arsenal.

General notes: Adding the superweapon general to the game is suicide. She will send disposable aurora alphas and they will ruin your day very quickly. As you'll see, my alphas do a lot of that themselves.
I don't know of anyone that has been able to do 7vs1 (based on Googling forums) with other generals, but I'm sure that it's possible. I just love using alphas too much to have given it a proper try; they are incredibly satisfying.
