This is a video of an unusual thunderstorm that occurred in Netanya and produced heavy rain and some hail.
The storm developed in the sea in front of the coast and slowly moved inland to the Netanya area while bringing intense lightning and thunder with high frequency. Some of the lightning struck the ground and even caused fires in some places not too far from where I was. In the middle of the video I added some good lightning shots I took. At the end of the video you can see the storm after it has already passed through Netanya to the east, and you can get an impression of the particularly high frequency of lightning.
