Let's see what's happening in Phoenix together.

Now, having passed through Phoenix a few times in the last few years, I still have a question mark feeling about the city. Here's my ongoing impression. Where's the anything? There certainly seems to be money available. Phoenix Suns. Arizona Diamondbacks. Arizona Cardinals. They can attract talent and have playoff aspirations. But that can't be your only thing.

There is, like many other cities/states west of the 95th meridian, an incredible native culture which seems to have been brushed under the teepee. The streets are wide but for no reason. It's a walking city. That might be the only great about it is that you can walk from side to side in a the time it takes drink a couple beers.

Final thoughts. It's a fun town the visit for the weekend during sports season when everyone is playing at home. Otherwise, Tucson is that place to be.
