99th Percentile on the GMAT Focus Edition - Manoj Raghavendran

Manoj Raghavendran scored a phenomenal 99th Percentile on the GMAT Focus Edition.

While sharing his experience, he mentioned that the basics of Quant are usually the same. The differentiator is about managing the focus and solving the question in time.

He initially made silly mistakes in the Quant section, but solving enough questions helped him master the skill.

Manoj mentions that there were a lot of distractions on a day to day basis during the prep, including the use of social media; and this affected his performance.

He decided to prioritize one thing at a time, cut down the use of social media and practised being in the zone. This helped him to improve his focus.

For data insights, both sectional and full length mocks helped him. He solved a lot of questions of the same sort to create a habit.

Manoj shared a very important insight. He says, “GMAT is not about your technical skills. It’s more about maintaining your focus for two and half hours throughout the exam. Even a single minute of dropped focus can lead to a mistake”.
