How the Mechanical Counter works in 60 seconds or less

A quick description of how the carrier gears control the whole action of the counting mechanism. Using a geneva gear style mechanism, and a 20:8 gear ratio, the rotation of the carrier gears control this mechanism perfectly. Using only 3d printed parts, I was able to design this mechanism with a satisfying feel to it! The full length video (3 minutes) can be found here:
