Columbus cracks down on Hilltop property owners after complaints of squatters, negligence

Neighbors in the Hilltop said two problem properties they called ABC 6 about earlier this month, are being cleaned up.

According to 311 reports, the properties located at 303 Belvidere Ave. and 571 South Harris Ave. had been the site of a homeless camp, squatters, and a destination for illegal drug use and theft. Reports also claimed the properties were overgrown and covered with trash.
