Train Simulator Classic request video 63. This one is starting at 4:30am so yep, it's a LightheWorld request. The loco is the Class 325 royal mail train, making it's long overdue debut appearance and despite owning this loco DLC for nearly 10 years is the first time I've ever driven it in game... seriously!
As for the route... well it's a bit of a strange one as it's Bedford to Gatwick Airport. As I currently don't have any of the North or South London Network DLC's I've had slightly alter the original request, so for this we start at Bedford and make our way to London St. Pancras, with a stop at Luton en route. This is a journey of just under 50 miles. Once at St. Pancras my second drive has the job of taking the train along the London circle networks to London Victoria station, where he has also set up the train for third rail running. So I then return to the controls for the London Victoria to Gatwick Airport leg of the run, with a stop at East Croydon along the way. This part of the journey is 26.75 miles.
