The ACTUAL First Black Player to Play Major League Baseball

It is a common misconception that Jackie Robinson was the first black player to play Major League Baseball. Jackie Robinson did break the color barrier in 1947, but the color barrier did not always exist. Three players—William Edward "Bill" White, Moses Fleetwood "Fleet" Walker, and Welday Walker—played in the MLB before Robinson did.
