Adding Gridlines, Custom Axis, CSV Data - Create Beautiful Charts With D3 - D3.js Beginner's Guide

Create Beautiful Line Charts in D3 - Beginners Guide Part 2. We use d3.csv() to add a real dataset to the chart we made in part one of this series. We also customize the axis labels and ticks, add in some subtle grid lines, and give the chart a title and source credit.

By the end of video two, you will have all the basic code you need to build nearly any line chart you can imagine, right in D3, with a touch of some more advanced techniques, like filtering out specific axis labels. You'll also have a template that looks modern and sharp, and is ready for any D3 and design customization you'd like to add in.
