Built for Tim as a luxury get away van in a high gloss white with exposed edges on the cabinetry. Matching grey suede cushions to his existing interior panel work.

This U-Shape lounge is manufactured and built by us here at DCD Transporters. Each build is unique and designed specifically for each customer and each van.

Tim’s van is a LWB Volkswagen Transporter T6.1, originally purchased from Leighton vans so the spec was pretty high to start with. Suede interior and leather seating as well as a fantastic LV-R body kit and exterior detail.

We’ve added our luxury flooring and contemporary style to the interior with many unique features just for this build.

We only use the finest quality materials in each of our builds. Our birch ply is BB grade and comes from the next county, limiting its travel once in the UK.
Electric’s are from top manufacturers including Victron, photonic universe and 12v planet.

Being a Long wheel base van means we could maximise the interior storage and create the biggest bed for the best nights away possible.

Additional touches such as under cabinet lighting and mobile tablet holder make the perfect cozy environment to relax.

On colder days turn on the diesel heater fuelled by the vans main tank to keep you warm and toasty. Thermostatic control keeps the temperature just right, three individual timers also mean no matter what your plans are the weather won’t stop you from enjoying your time out.

On or off grid you have the power, 240v hook up hidden in a discrete flap under the tail light chargers and maintains the leisure battery and provides 240v power inside the van.
The 12v leisure battery powers the lighting and USB sockets and ensures your vans main power is isolated from the camper side. Battery to battery smart charging system tops up the leisure battery while driving or connected to shore power. To keep your battery full.

Massive bed in such a small space? Yes!! A bed which measures 1820mm long by just over 1600mm wide gives home style comfort and space while away. Converting to either two bench style seats or a U-shape lounge makes for a very social experience and one which is more natural to dine and relax with company.
