Welcome to Gofod Tynn, a small narrow gauge station nestled somewhere in the Welsh Hills. Originally opened in the mid 1800's to serve the nearby slate mines, it survives now as a preserved railway running a mixture of steam hauled passenger stock and demonstration freight trains.

Today the Bachmann Double Fairlie "Earl Of Merioneth" and Peco/Kato Small England "Prince" are taking care of trains on this busy day towards the end of the Summer season.

Gofod Tynn is the Welsh translation of 'Tight Space', an appropriate name given that the entire layout fits inside a large suitcase. The layout attended it's first exhibition at The Spa Valley Railway in September 2022, having been built over the course of the Summer with the entire process being documented on this channel.
