China is set on its patch to banning its own citizens from any activities that deals with bitcoin. State run Securities Times have announced a wider crackdown that ban anything and everything from trading over the counter, offshore sites used for trading, to peer-to-peer trading. In its aim, China will target the big players by getting their ip address to block them conduction such activities. The government reason is that trading in cryptocurrency may have an adverse effect ending in financial chaos. In doing so China has terminated the yuan-bitcoin exchange markets that was once very large and popular. Major Chinese exchange operators like Huobi and OKCoin have moved overseas to dodge the aim of regulators. A vice governor of the Chinese central bank, Pan Gongsheng, reiterate that China will continue to crack down in cryptocurrency trading to stabilize its traditional economic system.
