Martin Custom Shop 0, Morado, Birdseye Maple, & Bearclaw Sitka Spruce | Lindsay Straw

There's always something special coming out of the Martin Custom Shop, and this unusual little 0 is no exception. Elements like the slotted headstock and pyramid bridge give this parlor traditional appeal, but turn it around, and you get a combination of tonewoods you'd never expect to see on this guitar's early predecessors: a three-piece morado and birdseye maple back. With rosewood darkness and overtone-bloom from morado, also known as Bolivian rosewood, and maple's transparent clarity, it ends up having a strong midrange focus and restrained bass and trebles, for a tone that's really even from low to high. Condition and playability of this pre-owned parlor are excellent, and it comes with its original TKL hardshell case.
