Evergreen & Easiest Trek of Kumaun | Khaliyatop Zero Point Trek, Munsyari (2023)

Khaliya Top is a snow-covered alpine meadow high up near Kumaon Himalayas, around 12 km from Munsiyari in the Pithoragarh district of Uttarakhand. Khaliya Top is a bugyal (meadow) at the height of around 3500m. Scenic views of the snow-clad peaks of #panchachuli Panchachuli, #rajrambha Rajrambha, #hardeol Hardeol, #nandakot Nanda Kot, #nandadevi Nanda Devi etc can be enjoyed from #khaliyatop Khaliya Top (#zeropoint Zero Point). This mountain is also the source of #birthifall Birthi Falls.

The altitude of five peaks of Panchachuli is as follows -
Panchachuli 1: Altitude 6355 Meters.
Panchachuli 2: Altitude 6904 meters.
Panchachuli 3: Altitude 6312 Meters.
Panchachuli 4: Altitude 6334 Meters.
Panchachuli 5: Altitude 6437 meters.

#panchachuli 🏔 Panchachuli: The Panchachuli peaks are a group of five snow-capped Himalayan peaks lying at the end of the eastern Kumaon region, near Dugtu Village Darma valley. The peaks have altitudes ranging from 6,334 metres to 6,904 metres.

We set our camp near TRH (Tourist Rest House) and next day we went to zero point. It was snow everywhere and the path was slippery and little dangerous on last summit. The sky was clear and we enjoyed beautiful view of clear #nightsky night sky.
