TRANSFORMERS Windsweeper & Breakdown DOOM ‘N DESTRUCTION Review

Transformers Legacy brings us G1 Windsweeper and Prime Universe Breakdown in a special two (or four) pack in the Doom ‘n Destruction Collection. These Decepticons, along with two Targetmasters / Battlemasters aim to give the Autobots some trouble. Captain Kyle reviews this set to see if it’s worthy to be in your collection.

Generation One Windsweeper was originally a Triggercon with the gimmick of spring-loaded weapons that would come out of his arms. A small Decepticon toy, he was still a great one, and likely if you found a G1 version, the gimmick would still work. The more complex gimmick on his two Triggercon companions tended to stop working after a time. Not to worry with this one, though, since he’s a remold and repaint of Needlenose and has two Targetmaster partners, Cleansweep and Ozone. In this set, he’s teamed with the Prime Universe Breakdown, who is a head remold and repaint of Bulkhead, his nemesis from the show. He comes with his hammer, Gatling gun, and mace. A very dangerous duo, these guys are. (So says Yoda.)
