My goal with this class was really to explore the Læce as person. We easily romanticize the ancient past and have a hard time seeing how the wisdom of our herbwise ancestors might have a place in the world we live in now... but they were real people with real problems just like you and I- and their blessings are as relevant now as they ever were.
